For many bright young people, the biggest barrier to Oxford isn’t academic ability – it’s believing that a place like Exeter College could ever be for them.
At Exeter, we believe that talent and potential should never be limited by background or circumstance. Through our Access and Outreach programme, we are working to break down barriers, challenge misconceptions and inspire young people to see Oxford as a place where they could belong.
Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, we have worked with over 100 schools in the past year, with half of them visiting Exeter to experience College life first-hand. These opportunities can be transformative, helping students build confidence, raise their aspirations and imagine a future they may never have thought possible.
